Modern Abstract Sterling Silver Post Earrings, Handmade
I love drawing inspiration from modern art, and Spanish modernist/surrealist Joan Miró has always been one of my favorite artists. This pendant was inspired by the freeform, abstract shapes found in some of his paintings. I cut out the shapes by hand from sterling silver sheet using a jeweler's saw, then soldered on handmade posts. They come with sterling silver ear nuts.
The earrings measure 1 1/4" high (3.2cm) and 7/8" wide (2.3cm).
