Abstract Modern Sterling Silver Pendant on Rubber Cord
This pendant was inspired by the freeform, abstract shapes found in the art of Spanish modernist/surrealist artist Joan Miró. I cut out the shape by hand from sterling silver sheet using a jeweler's saw. The bail for the cord is hidden on the back side of the pendant, which is slightly domed for more dimension. The pendant has a matte/brushed finish and hangs on a 16" or 18" black rubber cord with a sterling silver clasp (choose from the drop-down menu at upper right). The pendant without a cord is $50.
The pendant measures 1 1/2" wide (3.8cm) and 1 3/8" (3.4cm) high.
