Sterling Silver Flower Earrings with Pink Freshwater Pearl-Handmade
I hand-cut these pretty sterling silver flowers, then gave them a subtle texture. I added a ball of recycled fine silver to the center, and hung them from sterling silver earwires with a pale pink freshwater pearl as a connecting piece. This flower design was inspired by a larger floral decoration on a work of art in the Accademia Museum in Venice. I rediscovered my drawing of it in an old sketchbook and decided to turn it into a piece of jewelry!
These earrings are part of my Flower Collection (or "I Fiori" Italian for “the flowers”). Every spring, I am excited when the first bulbs burst forth from the earth, and my happiness grows as everything begins to bloom. I want to reflect that feeling with this collection, to celebrate the joy of spring all year-round.
The flowers are 5/8" wide, and the earrings hang 1 7/8" long from the top of the earwire to the bottom of the flower.
Please allow for minor differences from the earrings pictured, as each piece is completely handmade.
