Large Sterling Silver Oval Matte Finish Pendant with Linear Texture
I added a linear texture this sterling silver oval using a handmade stamp, then domed the shape for dimension. On the back I soldered a piece of tubing for the bail. Finally, I darkened (oxidized) the silver to accent the texture and the wire, and then gave the half-oval shape a matte finish using sandpaper.
The pendant measures 1 1/2" (3.8cm) high and 1 1/8" (2.9cm) wide. It can be purchased without a chain, but the chain you plan to use must be less than 4mm at its widest part to go through the bail.
The pendant can also be purchased with a lightly oxidized sterling silver 2.5mm elongated cable chain as seen in the photos (16"-30"), or with a 16 or 18" black rubber cord (not pictured; see this pendant for reference).
I have coordinating earrings with the same texture, as well as a smaller pendant of the same design
