Sterling Silver Flower Pendant Necklace-Handmade
I hand-cut this pretty sterling silver flower, then gave it a subtle texture. I added a ball of recycled fine silver to the center, and hung it on an 18" sterling silver 1.7mm cable chain. This flower design was inspired by a larger floral decoration on a work of art in the Accademia Museum in Venice. I rediscovered my drawing of it in an old sketchbook and decided to turn it into a piece of jewelry! I also offer matching earrings and a smaller version of the necklace (see below for links).
The flower is 1" (2.6cm) wide. The chain is 18" (45.7cm) long and 1.7mm wide.

This necklace is part of my Flower Collection (or "I Fiori" Italian for “the flowers”). Every spring, I am excited when the first bulbs burst forth from the earth, and my happiness grows as everything begins to bloom. I want to reflect that feeling with this collection, to celebrate the joy of spring all year-round.
