Modern Abstract Sterling Silver Dangle Earrings, Handmade
I love drawing inspiration from modern art, and Spanish modernist/surrealist Joan Miró has always been one of my favorite artists. These earrings were inspired by the freeform, abstract shapes found in some of his paintings. I cut out the shapes by hand from sterling silver sheet using a jeweler's saw and gave them a matte/brushed finish. They hang from sterling silver ear wires.
The earring shapes measure approximately 1 1/4" high (3.2cm) and 7/8" wide (2.3cm). They hang approximately 1 3/4" (4.5cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the earring.
Please allow for minor differences from the earrings pictured here, as each piece is completely handmade!
