Sterling Silver, Copper, and Apatite Pendant Necklace
This sterling silver, copper, and apatite pendant is perfect for spring and summer. First I formed a half-circle from thick, round sterling silver wire, then hammered the ends flat to create an area to attach the copper wire. I strung organically shaped apatite nuggets on thin copper wire, then wrapped the wire up the sides of the sterling silver for a nice contrast in both color and texture. The apatite nuggets are a beautiful, transparent aqua blue color.
The pendant measures approximately 1 1/4" (3.2cm) diameter. It hangs on an 16", 18", or 24" 1.5mm rolo (cable) chain. It is also available without the chain.
